Goldsmith
Since 1986 I have been in the Jewellery trade, I served my apprenticeship as a Goldsmith in the Yorkshire town of Ilkley and also went onto study Gemmology in the City of Leeds.
I have worked at the bench making, designing and repairing fine jewellery including High End and International commissions.
Taking a break from my tools and the bench, I travelled the world with my trade sharing my knowledge and experience.
I was employed as the Jewellery Manager on-board four different passenger cruise ships and was giving regular lectures on gemstones to thousands of passengers.
Despite having a wonderful experience travelling the world I decided it was time to come home. This was when I decided to set up my own business and in 2009 NB Jewellery was born.
I continue to create bespoke pieces for many clients working from my own rural jewellery workshop on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
I have also been privileged to be part of ITV’s Bling series as an expert on the Make Counter, working alongside Gok Wan and other talented jewellers.
